This is Me
Love for music has been deeply ingrained on my heart from the very beginning. Childhood home and memories were filled to the brim with joyus tunes of all kinds. Tunes in the form of Folk, Worship, Classical and more. These were the start to an exciting journey of musical discovery.
My studies officially started in Europe in a small town called Kutina, in Croatia. There, I trained eight years with the local music school called OGS Boris Papandopula. I acquired a fenomenal education with a Classical musician who instilled in me the importance of theory and technique.
After moving to Winnipeg MB, I continued my piano training with Linden Christian Schools, Fine Arts Program. Here I learned to love entirely different styles of piano music. Styles such as Ragtime, Jazz, Gospel, Sacred, Musical Theater and even Improvisation!
My journey eventually lead me to a small town in Caronport SK. This is where I finished College at Briercrest College and Seminary
with a BA in Music with a concentration in Piano Performance. This brought me to see the beauty of Music as a whole! All the components I had been studying came into view as a beautiful landscape with its many nuances.
Three of my biggest musical accomplishments while in college were a junior and senior recital, as well as a Grade 10 RCM Certificate.
